Argentina Comic Con

Argentina Comic Con is one of the largest pop-culture events in South America, and the biggest in the Spanish-speaking part of the continent. Founded in 2013, it now runs more than one edition a year in Buenos Aires; the December 2026 edition takes place December 4–6 at BA Ferial (the Costa Salguero complex) on the city's riverfront. It brings together film and TV, comics, anime, video games, collecting and cosplay under one roof.

What to expect: celebrity guests from film and TV for panels, photo ops and autographs; a strong artists' area featuring Argentine and Latin American creators; an exhibitor floor of comics, toys, apparel and imports; a games zone; and a cosplay scene that's among the most enthusiastic in the region, with contests and meetups throughout the weekend. Because Argentina has a deep comics and animation tradition, the local-creator presence is a genuine highlight rather than an afterthought.

BA Ferial / Costa Salguero sits along the Río de la Plata toward Palermo and Recoleta, reachable by taxi, app-based rides or bus from central Buenos Aires; the city's Ezeiza international airport and the closer Aeroparque handle arrivals. December is early summer in Buenos Aires — warm and pleasant. Tickets are sold through the official site and Argentine ticketing partners such as Ticketek, with day and weekend passes plus premium and VIP tiers; popular days can sell out.

Buenos Aires is one of South America's great city breaks, so the con pairs well with a longer trip: steak and wine, tango, and the bookshops and cafés of Recoleta and Palermo, with easy connections to the rest of Argentina.
